The National Wedding Show, March 2011
In March I exhibited my vintage jewellery bouquets and headpieces at the National Wedding Show in Birmingham. I got to meet lots of really lovely brides with fabulous plans for their weddings as well as lots of great suppliers. I loved setting up my stand like a little vintage boutique - and was devastated when had to take it down at the end of the three day show!

One of my absolute highlights was discovering that the stylists of the catwalk bridal show had chosen my headpieces to accessorise the finale of the show - a Royal wedding-themed piece. I actually cried a tiny bit like a proud mother when I saw the gorgeous models step out on stage in my headpieces! The pieces they chose to use were Ava, Coco, Grace, Poppy, Vivien and Bijoux.

I was also lucky enough to have my bouquets used in the How to Look Good Make-Over Show with Caryn Franklin which plucked lucky brides out of audience for a makeover - and one gorgeous girl even ended up wearing one of my Coco birdcage veil bow headpieces with a vintage aurora borealis crystal brooch centrepiece.
